Tonight for family home evening we decided to have sundaes! We went to the store to get all the toppings and we all picked some out. Brielle was having a hard time by the end and didn't want to get into the car so i said:
"Come on Brielle lets race!" (remember we are in the parking lot!)
Brielle said in a very ornery and demanding voice "No way Mommy it is too dangerous I could get hurt!"
Me: "There are no cars, you will be fine"
"Mommy I could fall and the road would hurt me!"
What a bah hum bug! She is NO FUN! We then WALKED very quietly and very CAREFULLY to the car!

All BAGS are not created equal!
I usually buy great value brand sandwich bags for the girls snacks and stuff. I was at the dollar store and remembered I was out and thought 'they surely can't be that different! I was so wrong!
Fast forward with me to sacrament meeting. Hope is holding an entire bag of gold fish crackers when all of the sudden they are everywhere. I immediately grab the bag from her and turn it right side up thinking that she had dumped them out. Gold fish crackers continued to spill everywhere and I was stumped. After closer examination, there was a HUGE hole in the bottom of the bag! Not ok! Moral of the story? Don't buy dollar tree sandwich bags! It was NOT fun to clean up!
On a Happier note, Brielle got to come visit in primary today. She came out of nursery 3 times saying that she had to go potty. The 3rd time I finally said "Brie, whats up? I know you don't have to go potty." She just looked at me and said "Mommy I don't want to play with the babies anymore!" I told her she could come into primary if she sat like a big girl with the sunbeams! She was so excited when they sang the Hello song to her. She ended up having to leave because she kept fighting with a little boy over the chairs. Just a little preview of what I have to look forward to in January. I think she is starting to get ready though, and I hope she will eventually like it! I can't believe she is almost that old!

Hope's Shadow
It took me a minute to figure out what Hope was doing waving at the wall, then jumping up and down and bending side to side. She found her shadow, and I think she was a little bit confused!
OK, OK, I get it!
I have to apologize for my previous post! I certainly didn't mean to offend anybody! I am going to be honest though and say, I am surprised by how many people actually read my huge looong paragraph with no pictures! Pretty impressive. Anyways, I am sorry I wont get all mushy and detailed anymore......don't quit reading the blog because of it!

Caught in her first lie....
Brielle: "Mom, please I have some white ice cream I really need it."
Me: " No, Brielle what you really need is some real food. How about you eat some chicken nuggets, and then you can have some ice cream."
Brielle: "ok, great idea."
I go in and read my book. She comes in very quickly.
Brielle: "I all done! I need ice cream now!
Me: "you ate your chicken nuggets already?
Brielle: "yup!"
Me: "both of them?"
Brielle: "yup!"
Me (a little skeptical): "are you sure?"
Brielle: "yup!"
I get her her ice cream. She devours it! We brush teeth, she goes to bed. I start picking up and pick up a blanket. Lo and behold a full chicken nugget has been stashed under this blanket. Something tells me this was not Hope! I wonder where the other one is!

Lonely.....
We took the Mommies to the airport!
Josh had to go back to school, and has a late night to pay for skipping out during the day!
Private Practice is not on due to the CMA awards!
And I am SOOOOO Lonely!
a BIG Thanks to the Moms. I am so grateful that they got to come. I am so grateful for them. We had so much fun, and my kids definitely needed some grandma time. They helped me out so much. We got the couch scrubbed, the kitchen table chairs recovered, and the moldy stroller (that was destined for the garbage) saved and clean. I don't think I did the dishes once while they were here. Thanks Barbs! It was so sweet of them to spend their vacation cleaning my house!
They also allowed us to go on the best date last night. We were going to go miniature golfing, but got there and it was closed. We then turned to plan B, and headed to the movie theater. The show didn't start until 10:00. What to do to kill the time? Well we had a $20 dollar bill, so we broke it into 2 $10's and went to a little shopping center. We then had 40 mins. and $10 to buy the other a present. It was a lot harder for me than for Josh, and we wondered if we were wasting our precious time together. It turned out to be so much fun! I got Josh an Owen Wilson double feature (he LOVES Owen!) I gave mine to him first in the target bag! He then pulls out 2 GIFT WRAPPED gifts. He got me a thing for the bath tub that makes me able to fill the tub up fuller, and a cookie scoop (I LOVE to make cookies!) Of course, he had the workers in on our little charade and they thought it was so great. He asked if they had any FREE tissue paper, to wrap it in and they gave into his plea and wrapped it for him. It was so cute!
We then had 30 mins to kill before the movie, so we parked and had a little make out! Yeah, I know your thinking 'Make out, what?' but it was actually fun. We haven't just made out FOREVER! We had a hard time getting to the movie and it made us think of before we were married.
We walked in, just to find out it was 'FREE POPCORN TUESDAY'! Fantastic! We got popcorn and headed to the theater! We were THRILLED to find NOBODY in the theater. We then continued where we left off..........
Thanks to the MOMMIES for making us feel young and free again! Thanks for everything that you did while you were here! We all love you both, and you will be greatly missed!

The Grandmas are here!
We are so very lucky to have both of the mommies here to visit! My Mom was just missing us so much, that she got spur of the moment tickets and came to see us! Brielle has been so excited and just tonight said "Mom I will be so sad when they leave, Huh!" She has loved having them here!
We went to Williamsburg and Jamestown today. After getting lost a few times, we finally figured out where we were supposed to be. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved to dress up in these metal armor things!
The girls curiosity got the better of them, and they couldn't help but touch everything!
We are so thankful for the Grandmas, and were glad we still have a couple more days of fun with them!

Can I PLEASE Re-Start my day????
Today by 9:30 I was wishing I was back in Utah so that it would only be 7:30 and I could re-start my day! Hope had a GROSS diaper, then she threw up all over my bed! After getting those two messes under control I got breakfast for the girls and ran to jump in the shower while they ate! Brielle came running in ( which is never a good thing, because usually if Hope is doing something naughty that is little she will take care of it! ie...getting into markers, carrying scissors....) "Mommy, mommy come quick! Hopey is in the flour!" I immediately jumped out, threw on a towel and ran hoping to catch her soon enough! Unfortunately she had dumped at least 10 cups of flour all over my kitchen floor! She was covered from head to toe! I was so mad that my memory card was in the computer with Josh because it was definitly picture worthy!! Then while cleaning the flour mess up, I moved the rug and sucked up a sock that magically disappeared into the vacuum, and stopped it from working! This is our 2nd vacuum break down since we've been here! Our first one didn't survive the move! Needless to say the day did get a little bit better. We just hung out at home all day and I think we all needed the healing day to recover from being sick for almost 2 weeks! Can i just say I think coughs are the worst sickness ever! They are so annoying to everyone!

New record......
So this morning I dragged my butt out of bed at 8:00 am. We have church at 9:00 am! Josh pulled me back down, saying it is not everyday the girls sleep in this long, just come and enjoy it with me! I laughed at him and said yeah right, we are going to have a hard time making it to church on time as it is! I was all ready with the bag packed and just waiting for the girls to wake up by 8:40. This was when Josh came out to check his email and realized the computer clock was an hour off. Oh, wait didn't somebody say something about day light savings time???? Where is my dad when we need him! WE WERE READY FOR CHURCH BY 7:45 AM! This is something that will NEVER happen again!

HaLloWeEN!
Meet Prince Charming
**This morning Brielle informed me she was so excited to be Cinderella and her daddy to be her prince charming! This was news to both Josh and I! I figured Josh could just wear his suit. Josh said "Prince Charming does not wear suits" WHAT???? What do PRINCES wear then? He ran to Kmart as soon as he got home, and thanks to the womens department he had a PRINCE costume! He even had a sword! I didn't want to be the only LAMO and not dress up so I called a friend in the ward who has 5 girls, and she, of course, had a costume!**
And Meet Belle
The royal family loaded up in their horse drawn carriage that I, as the fairy godmother, magically summoned with my magic wand! They then went to the church for a trunk or treat and went from royalty to beggers to get candy!
And Cinderella was fairly easy! Brielle LOVED getting all gussied up! She loved the sparkle makeup and the princess hair! Later in the evening Josh told me he was afraid our girls would look under dressed for Halloween, since we use these dresses for dress-ups! I just looked at him and said "Really? With me as their mom?" I couldn't believe he would think I wouldn't go all out!
I think prince charming is supposed to end up with the princess! What about the fairy godmothers happiness? The princess always gets the happy ending! Tonight we shared our prince!
This is what Hope looked like by the end of the night! We gave them free reign on the candy, and Hope couldn't believe that we just kept opening the candy she continued to bring us! She laughed and clapped everytime, waiting for us to tell her NO!
