Lets just rewind time shall we? (april-may)

I really wish that were possible. To just rewind time as easy as that. I feel as though the past few months have been so crazy busy that I could hardly breath. Let alone deal with all my emotions. I finally feel like I can go back and blog all that happened in the crazy month before we left Virginia Beach. It was very busy. This one post should be at least 7 but since I'm already a couple months late, we will just make it one. They are in no particular order.

Boys will be Boys!

Cute little Rigs got into this mud puddle and with the shovel dumped mud all over head.He loved it and I just let him play and get dirty.

He also found this little gun and strangely knew exactly what to do with it!

Same thing with the light saber. He hit this box for a good 5 mins.

I ran my first 5K
When my friend Lan text me two weeks before the 5k and asked me to do it with her I laughed. But somehow she talked me into. I know it was no marathon, but it was the farthest I have ever run.

It was freezing! Our cute kids all huddled together to stay warm. I didn't think it would be that cold, so I didn't bring coats, or blankets or anything. Josh ended up going to walgreens and buying beach towels that were way overpriced, but at least they had something to snuggle in. They were so sweet to support me.
It was fun to run on the boardwalk. That was part of the reason I did it, it was the only time I could ever do a 5K along the beach!

My biggest motivation was being able to tell my brothers that I did it. Maybe, just maybe they will stop teasing me...probably not though! Hey, it's their job to tease me right!?

The girls soccer season spring 2011
The girls both wanted to play soccer. Brie had played before and didn't like but wanted to try it again and Hope wanted to try it as well. It was interesting to say the least. It started out ok, but by the end they both wanted to be done.
This is pretty much what they did during their games. One time I saw them all over there playing with each others hair. Usually Hope was included in this, but this was the last game, and by then she refuse to even go out. Or put her shirt on.

This is what she did instead.

But they both got trophies and were more than thrilled. It made their month!

Hope even slept with hers for the first few nights. So the summary...Hate soccer, Love trophies!

Law Wives Graduation!
Law wives always does a graduation for the wives whose husbands are graduating. It is a fun night just remembering the year and good times.

They had the husbands come and present us with our certificates. My cute Josh totally underplayed this and I expected him to come in a tshirt and jeans (which would have been fine) but he surprised me and came in full suit and tie, with a prepared speech and a dozen roses.
This was not an easy task as he had all three kids and it was POURING rain. There were also tornado warning right for our area. He dragged all three kids out in the crazy storm to get me flowers, and then brought them all to the school to give them to me. It was so sweet, but they were all drenched! I felt so bad! I had told Hope not to get her hair wet in the bath tub as I left because I didn't want to have to blow dry it in the morning for church. In front of everybody she said "mommy, the rain got my hair all wet...I sorry!" The hubs definitely got points for that night!

Lan and I and our big girls!

Law wife Easter Celebration!

We went to the annual law wife Easter egg hunt. The kids all sat so quietly while they had a little lesson about the meaning of Easter.

Rigs lovin the food!

Jocelynne and Brielle

They let the little kids go first and Rigdon knew right what to do. He ran out and picked up an egg right away.
Then after he had a few, he sat down and enjoyed all that hard work.

An Afternoon at the Village!

Trinity and Hope were the best at making messes. There was one time they pulled EVERY.SINGLE. THING off of both of our porches and lined it all up to make a hut. This day was no exception. They would just collect things here and there and before Lan or I knew it , they had a royal mess. It was always fun to see their creations and it always kept them busy for long periods of time.

Justice and Rigdon were so excited when they both made it on top of this box. They thought they were pretty cool. They kept looking at each other and laughing. It was so sweet.

Brielles Birthday Party

We had to celebrate Bries birthday before we left, but since we were in the middle of moving, and we had company, and we were getting ready for graduation we kept it really simply. We just did cupcakes for the cake, and had a picnic outside and played games. Any game Brielle wanted. I think it was a success.

Opening up some presents.

Playing a game.

Cheers!

Brielle and Jocelynne realized that they had the same shirt and had to be twins for the day.

Brielle decided that she wanted to have a sleepover with each of her friends before we moved. This is the night with Jocelynne. Both the girls fell asleep on her and I don't think she really knew what to do.

Mikey and Millie visit and My Virginia checklist!

This was our last officially family beach trip. Mikey and Millie had come to visit, and it was Mikeys first time to the beach. It was kinda sad for me that it was our last. I mean, I'm sure we'll go again, but not just for the day, we'll have to go on vacation.

Renting one of these family bike things was on my list of things to do before leaving VA BEACH. We thought it would be perfect timing to do it with Mikey and Millie. It was a lot of fun.

We have really enjoyed living so close to the beach and are definitely going to miss it!

We went strawberry picking with Mikey and Millie too. This was also on my list. There are strawberry fields all over down by the beach and I always loved the thought of going out to pick strawberries.

The Girls loved it too.

And Mikey couldn't wait to eat them!

We also went to the lighthouses and watched all the dolphins jump.

Random Goodness!

Grandma arrived for packing back up!
We couldn't have made it through graduation week without my Mom. With Rigdons doctor appointments and trying to get everything done, it was nice to have another adult.

Hope had a little tea party with all her friends to say goodbye! She thought it was pretty special!

We celebrated Victorias birthday.

Nice. beautiful, elongated necks ladies! ( I will never forget that night!)

WHEW! What a month we had. Glad to finally have it all documented. Better late than never!
