Rigdon Ash

Rigdon is constantly on the move. But is content to just walk, as long as he is moving.

Rigdon signs please and eat, but only when he wants to.

Rigdon says "mama" and can pretty much get whatever he wants when he does.
You want a bite of my cookie, oh sure my sweet boy!

Rigdon has started crying anytime anybody goes outside without him

Rigdon loves music, and the bathtub.

Rigdon loves to be in the laundry/utility room, but only because he knows he is not supposed to be. He will go in and just sit and stare at me like "look what I am doing!"

Rigdon frequently gets kicked out of his sisters room.

Rigdon constantly melts our hearts.

Valentines day boxes!

When I was a little girl my mom made me the most amazing heart-shaped, chicken coop valentines box. It was complete with real chicken wire, and a little chick the would squeak when we lifted it up and down. It was the most FANTASTIC thing to me as a young girl. I couldn't wait to take it to school to show all my friends. When a note came home saying that Brielle needed a Valentines day box I panicked. I had a lot of pressure on me. How was I supposed to compete with the chicken coop?

Now, I am pretty sure that was one of those projects that the kid was supposed to do, but never really does. AND I know Brielle was supposed to make hers. I remember watching my mom make it. I didn't care that she did it. All I cared about was that it was pretty.

I guess I am lucky in a sense that Brielle is like me in this aspect, because I am one of those Moms. You know the ones. The ones all my Teacher friends are probably shaking their heads at saying "yup I know!" I was really going to let her do it. But then I got rolling and it was just so hard. And like me all Brielle cared about was that it was pretty. She was so excited, and kept saying thank you mom I love it. It is no chicken coop, but it did the job.

We decided to do purses. Unlike Brielle, Hope was not content to watch me do it. She wanted to do everything. She wanted to do the glitter and color the heart. My first thought was NO! But then I thought 'why not? she doesn't have to take it to school!' Awful! I know! Regardless they both loved them the same.

Thanks Mom, for the amazing chicken coop valentines day box memories! (and thanks for giving me something to live up too!)

My month of photos, Joy of love

I have started a fun (free) photo class online. My subjects are my loved ones, and then they email me my topic everyday and a tip. I am so excited about this. I want to start shooting more manually and this takes practice. This is the perfect excuse to do it. I have already learned so much. If you are interested the website is www.willettedesigns.com, the program is called the joy of Love.

I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of pictures this month!

What they look like:

My little Hope looks less like a baby and more like a little girl everyday. She is very hard to get a good smiling picture of so when I got this I was thrilled.

What they do:

Both of my girls love to play on the computer. I think it is cute how young they start these days. They can both operate the laptop, and have been able to for a couple of years. Pretty impressive.

Josh and Brielle are currently in the process of beating Super Mario World together. Josh dream come true!

What they wear:
Goose eggs, bruises and scrapes is what this little boy is constantly wearing! He walks a lot faster than his little legs can keep up with and he is always tripping on his own feet.

Just because
I couldn't resist this picture in all my happy picture snapping. They are too sweet. Today I learned that it was good I taught Brielle all her shapes colors and counting, now she can teach Hope. While reading she said "Hope what is this?" Hope said "a circle" Brielles said "no, it is an oval. Can you say oval? Say oval!" Hope: "oval" Brielle "great job!" Hope gazed off and Brielle asked another question. Hope didn't answer. Brielle said "Hope, pay attention to your work!"
She is so funny. I love these girls.
