Rub a dub dub, 3 girls in the tub!

I have tons of pictures of me when I was little with like five of my cousins in the bath tub with me. I naturally had to take a picture when Ava was over playing and they all got in the tub together! They had a ball all night long. Brie couldn't wait to show Ava her new bubbles machine she got from her aunt Amanda for her birthday. (Thanks she LOVES it)! They danced and twirled around in the bubbles. It is so much fun for them to get to spend time together, since it is limited and soon will be even more limited.

The Long Awaited Return!

My little brother, returned from his mission this week! It was so fun and exciting to see him! This is a picture of when he left we were dropping him off at the MTC! I don't have any pics of the return, but he pretty much looks the same! We are so excited to have our little Cody back safe and sound! All the grandkids haven't left his side for a minute, and he quickly gained a new companion for this transfer home! His girlfriend! She waited the whole two years and they seem to have picked up where they left off! It is so fun! We are so happy to see him adjusting so well into normal life so quickly! Cody, We are so proud of the service you did for the our Heavenly Father! We love you so much!

Not A Fan Of DIRT!

I went to a bridal shower today for my soon to be neice-in-law(does that work?) And let me just say I HATE dirt! When I heard it was going to be in the backyard, I thought FANTASTIC! The kids can just run around and play, and it will be very peaceful for me! I was wrong! The whole side of the yard was dirt, and I tried so hard to be relaxed and calm about this. I let it go when Hope started sifting her fingers through it, I let it go when she was dumping it in her shoe, I even stifled a little laugh when she ate it and had it all over her face. I can't explain to you my feelings watching my kids get so filthy. I'm not a clean freak either, it really just must be the dirt. Then Brielle found a cup and came and dumped a huge pile of dirt into spilled water! We now had MUD! This is when lost control! I immediately threw my plate of food in the garbage, grabbed all my stuff and both kids under my arm and left. The kids are now bathed and clean and I'm a calm, HAPPY mommy!

Brielle turned 3, and I just can't believe my baby is so big! She has been talking about a barbie cake for a couple of months now, so I borrowed a cake pan from a somebody in my ward. I was so happy I heard her tell my sister "a barbie cake with my name on it"! I would have never thought to put her name on it. The lady said it was easy, so I of course put it off to the last minute! I was up til 2:30 last night decorating the cake, and the house and trying to get everything ready! I was thrilled with how the cake turned out though, and after all the work I had to take lots of pics!
She couldn't wait to eat it. All day, about every 10 mins., we heard I want to eat my barbie cake. We then would explain to her that everybody was going to come and we were going to sing and she could blow out the candles then we would eat the cake. She would be fine for the next 9 mins. She was quite the princess today! She didn't want her hair done, so I didn't make her get it done. She wanted to stay in her church dress, and as you can see she got her way.
After she blew out the candle we took the barbie head out and she immediately took it from my hand and started licking the frosting off. That was all the cake she had-she didn't even want the actual cake just the barbie head!
Hope dug right in, as soon as Brielle left!

We got her a little princess bike! We left it out in the living room and she came in this morning all excited, my big bike, my big bike! I said wait a second let me get out the camera and when she came out with us singing to her, she acted like she didn't like it! It was so disappointing because she had been talking about her bday all week. Then throughout the day she would go out and ride it and loved it. We had to take it down to Grandmas to show everybody her new bike.

SisTeR ShopPinG dAy!

One of my earliest memories as a little girl is being loaded up in the car, making the lllooonnng trip into to SLC, and then being dragged from store to store as my mom(and most of the time one of her sisters) shopped til we all dropped! I, of course, hated it when I was that age! But what do you expect from us now? We all LOVE to shop! We can't help it, we were taught at an early age how important a good deal is, and just where to go to find one! We thought it appropriate for Mothers day that we take a little shopping spree! Josh had to work, so I wasn't going to go, but my mom so very kindly offered my dad as a babysitter for Brie. He is so easy going and laid back that he of course obliged! I love you dad! Thanks!

This is my partner in crime! I am now passing on my LOVE of shopping as I drag my children from store to store! The only difference? She seemed to like it! She was an ANGEL all day long. Not one fit! She would sing in the stores, and hold clothes. She just might be worse than I am! She even bought me a mothers day present!
My sister-in-law (who is not quite the shopper we are) met up with us after work! We ate lunch at Chiles and had a great afternoon just being together! I want to wish all my sisters, and my mom a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! They all had children before me and set a great example to me of motherhood! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Happy Anniversary??????

Our anniversary was May 7th, and it was definitely the lamest anniversary we've had yet. Josh took the day off so that we could be together, but Tuesday night I got so sick, so I laid in bed all day while he watched the kids! Sounds fun and romantic right! Instead of exchanging gifts on our anniversary we have always gotten a hotel somewhere, or gone on a little vacation. This year that was out of the question, because we had just bought the new car, so the car was our anniversary present.
I, as always, wish I could take my own pictures, but thanks to cropping, and photoshop, my mom got the job done! We went out to dinner and left the kids with my parents! I don't know what we are going to do when we don't live close to family! Thanks mom and dad!

We took a picture by the car since it was our anniversary present. For those of you who have been asking, we got a chrysler pacifica. I LOVE it and feel like it is the perfect car for our family at this stage in our life. It even gives us a little wiggle and growing room.

Here is a recap of past anniversaries:

For our first anniversary, I couldn't find the disk with the pictures on it but it was fun. We were broke! I think we had like $100 dollars in our account, and wiped it out and got a hotel room in Park City. Josh was working there, and I surprised him, picked him up from work, and blind folded him to take him to the hotel. I was also nine months pregnant, and four days away from having Brielle! It was a needed break!
This is a picture of our 2nd anniversary. We went to Washington for a week, and stayed in a house on Anderson Island. It was beautiful, and so desolate. We felt like the only ones on the whole Island. I was about five months pregnant with Hope. We took Brie with us because we wanted to stay for the whole week. We also had some friends come along, they have a little girl Bries same age. It was interesting driving 14 hours with 2 one year olds!
This is our third anniversary. We again went to Park City. This is our back up place it we need somewhere to go last minute. We had so much fun just being together and shopping the outlet mall.

overall, it was an ok night- I ended up feeling a little better. I'm so grateful to be married to the man of my dreams! It has been a FATASTIC 4 YEARS, and I can't wait for our next 40 years together!

No, No Mommy!

I was carrying Hope out of my bedroom, which is her favorite place to rip apart, and she bit me. Hard! Yes, my sweet little angel baby has entered the horrible world of the terrible twos ALREADY! I say everyday at least once, "Where did my sweet baby go?" She is just crazy! Anyway, I took her out to put her on time out and it didn't even phase her, as usual, she laughed. But Brielle was hysterical.
"No, No Mommy, she is my friend!" I was so alarmed I didn't no what to do. In the past when Hope has been on time out she tattles on her when she climbs off. She then proceed to go over and give her a hug and say "Hopey, you ok? I love you, you finished come here!" And she helped her down! I didn't do anything. It was so cute, I couldn't get mad at Brie, she was being nice. All I know is, we sure aren't going to get to far with disipline. Especially if Brie comes to the rescue everytime!

It's Over! (for 3 months)

Josh's Graduation was today! We are FINALLY finished, for a little while. It feels a little bit like middle school graduation to me, because we just have to keep going! At least this one has a bigger pay off. Only 3 more years. The graduation was long, and Josh was bored out of his mind. He text me during it and said " Get me out of here!" But I am so glad that he decided to walk, It was so emotional seeing all the graduates in their caps and gowns!
We left the kids home with a friend (thank you so much Alexa). I'm so glad! I thought that we should take them to see their daddy, and I'm really glad we decided against it! They would have been crazy! They couldn't even hold still long enough to get a decent picture!
Thank you to all the friends and family who came to sit through the boredom! We really appreciate your love and support not just today but throughout the 4 years of school!
This is for the English class that I helped Josh with! I say helped because he did end up writing most of the papers, but I did all the busy work, AND we got an A in that class!
We are so grateful to both of our parents! We love you so much!
