Brielle and Hope show off thier "Hunk beds"

Brielle loves her room and her new beds, and has wanted everyone to come and see them. She was so excited when I told her we would make a movie.

Meet Tina.........or Harry!

This little frog has a home in between the siding right by our back door. There are actually two of them. Brie has officially named them Tina and Harry. When we first saw the frogs there was just one and we thought it was dead. It didn't move a muscle for like four days straight. Same corner, same position. We were thrilled when we were out one night and found out they were nocturnal. That explains a lot! At least to me, Brie still doesn't understand why it won't wake up! At night if we are really lucky they come to say hi on our window. We LOVE our pet frogs Tina and Harry that we don't have to take care of! I think they love us too!

Oh, how I missed the blogging world!

I have officially spent FIVE hours!!!!!! yes FIVE hours catching up on everybodies lifes and catching up on our post! Pathetic? Maybe. Tomorrow will I regret that I am up still and it is 2:30? Probably. Funny thing is I LOVE IT, AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN!

So far Josh has suffered through the so called "Orientation" and two day of school. I have never heard of an orientation complete with homework and a test, but I guess thats how they do it here in Law school. They also scared him out of his wits by telling him how hard it was, but don't worry they finished it up very encouragingly by saying "You can do if you work really hard!" All I know was that Josh didn't quite know what he got himself into and 0n sunday night he was really nervous for "real classes" to begin. I'm happy to report that after 2 whole days of classes, he already seems less stressed about it, and now thinks he can do it!
At the end of orientation last week they had a little barbaque for the whole family. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and they had a daycare for the kiddos. Josh and I got to eat in peace and mingle with his new family, (since he will probably see as much of thos people as he will us) for a whole 2 hours! I was even more pleasantly surprised when we picked the kids up and they had their cute little faces painted. A clown had come and Brie could not stop talking about all the fun things they did. The clown had a bird, and made balloon animals, and did a magic show, and obviously painted faces. It was a great night for all of us! We walked away feeling even more confident that we chose the right school. It is such a relief to have them be so centered around the family. So, REGENT LAW SCHOOL, like it or not here we come! we are officially orientated! (is that a word?)

Driving......and driving.......and, you guessed it DRIVING!

We left our home sweet home of grantsville utah on Tues. night at about 10:30! It took us FOREVER to get on the road. After some tears, lots of hugs, several goodbyes, and packing the car with ever little thing we could imagine we hit the road for our 33 hour ROADTRIP! Our first night was pretty long and by the time the sun came up we were only in Cheyenne Wyoming! We laughed and joked about getting a hotel room and camping out one state away! We also wanted to make a little pit stop at a walmart to see if we could get another cord to our DVD player. We have one installed in the car but the kids were the proud occupants of that one the WHOLE trip, and Josh and I also wanted a little entertainment. (Dont panick, the driver kept their eyes on the road!) We also got some kids dramamin (which was 1 of many life savers) to take care of the throwing up Hope! you know my little Hope, it wouldn't be right if she didn't throw up! So after getting 2 very bad, and very different sets of instructions we finally found the walmart which was way off the freeway! about 2 hours later we were back on the road! Take my advice, DONT STOP AT THE WALMART IN CHEYENNE! Towns people claim its not that far, they lie!

We continued driving all day Wednesday. Nebraska is the biggest state ever, and also the most boring! It was full of corn fields. We got so sick of looking at all the corn that we had to stop. We took a little pit stop in a town called Aurora and had a picnic. The girls played at the park, we ate healthy Micky D's, and I almost accidentally stole some gas! I had a little trouble with the pump and so the attendant came to help me apparently resetting the pump that I had already swiped my card at. So I filled up and went on my merry way. Next thing I know there is a trucker honking at me giving me dirty looks, and pointing backwards. The gas attendant was chasing after me to come pay for my gas. I thought it was funny that I asked for help and then took off without paying! They knew I didn't mean too.

The DVD players were a life saver, and we could never have made the trip without them. We drove Wed. until we couldn't stand it anymore because we were sooooooo tired! Then we got a hotel room about 2 hours away from Nashville. It was the best $60 spent. We all slept so good and it was FANTASTIC to get cleaned up and showered! I don't know what it is about driving that makes you feel so yucky! We then continued on the NASHVILLE where Josh served his mission. We spent the day Thursday there visiting some of his old friends and seeing the area. It was really fun for me to see.This is Terry and Eddie Diaz. They were Joshs Mom and Dad on his mission. It was so much fun to meet them, and the girls loved them. Terry gave them little CPK fairy babies, and called them the traveling fairies. Those dolls will forever remind me of Terry and Eddie and our drive across country.

We left about 8:30 Thurs. night and drove through the night again. We pulled into Virginia Beach and about 10:00 am on Friday morning. We were thrilled to see the moving truck there waiting for us. If they would have left we wouldn't have been able to get our stuff until Monday (which was when Josh started school) because they don't deliver on sat., and sun.! So we couldn't have timed it more perfectly. We got out of the car and opened the truck and started carrying in boxes. After about an hour we had barely made a dent, we were starving, and I was very frustrated wondering how in the world we were going to get all our stuff in the house. We went and ate, and when we got back we had reinforcments. Our new friend Katrina had called the missionaries and a family in the ward to come and help and I almost started crying when I saw all the help we had. The truck was unloaded within 2 hours and we have been unpacking boxes ever since!

When Brie walked in she said "It stinks, I want to go home!" It broke our hearts! Then we met our neighbors that we share a patio with, and they have 2 little girls ages 3 and 1. They were fast friends and she hasn't complained since.

So far we love the area! Josh loves the school! I have already made some great friends, and it is such a fun neighborhood. We spent most the weekend buying storage things because there is just no cupboard space, or storage space anywhere. We joke around that our house is like TETRIS! Everything has to be put in its space exactly right or it won't fit. We've had to add shelves into the utility room to make a pantry and buy cupboards for the bathroom. Josh, of course wants to replace all the flooring, which is against the rules! I am happy to report that I have not been homesick yet! that is a big thing for me!

Our First REAL home!

We have lived in Stansbury in the good old townhomes for about 3 years now. This is the longest we have lived anywhere. It really was home to us, and we will forever treasure the memories we had here! Hope helped us pack by coloring on all the boxes! Thank you HOPE! That was vital! We actually had a lot of help moving from friends and family and we couldn't have done it without them! Big thanks to everyone who saved us in the big move!

To this! We still had a few last minute things to move out, but it was completely empty by the time we left! It was so sad for me! It was the ONLY home either of our girls have known. We are going to miss our friends, neighbors and the ward, but we are so excited for our next stage of life!

Saying GOOD-BYES!

We had some great times in saying goodbye to family and friends! And as usually I was there ready to capture the memories with my camera! I was so happy Joshs sisters Christie and Angie and thier little families made it to Utah before we left! We had a girls night out and go ahead an guess who watched the 11 kids(under the age of 10), yep! Josh, Micheal, and Grammy Barbs helped! Josh was so fantastic about it too. We went out to eat and watched the movie MAMA MIA! And following fawson trend ended dancing in the isles!

My family snuck in a temple trip before we left! It was a lot of work figuring out everybodies schedules (thanks Amanda and Angela!) but we made it work. Unfortunately Josh was unable to break away from his last week of rigorous Carpeteering! He had to get the jobs finished so we could leave! It is always refreshing to go to the temple but especially special to go with family!

The little girl cousins on Joshs side FINALLY got all together! Brie is the oldest of the clan, and Hope is the youngest. We had FIVE little girls in the span of 17 months! Little ANNA is missing from the pic though they did get to play and spend time with her. This is really funny because the Fawsons had only two granddaughters before this and that is over 19 years! We were so excited to get these girls together to play. Of course, they LOVED Grammy Barbs dress ups!

These are some of my friends from my ward! Hillary threw me a little party and it was so much fun to get to say good bye to everyone! Thanks Hil!
We were also thrilled that the Sorenson family happened to be in Utah before we left! This is Joshs really good friend from elementary school. They live in California so who knows when we would've seen them ( could we be any futher apart?????completly opposite coast!) It was really funny because we set the camera on auto to take like 10 pics and we said ok do a sillly face on a couple of them. When looking through the pictures we had this one with all of our mouths wide open! Apparently that constitutes a silly face! We are so excited we got to see you guys! LOVE YA!
AND last but not least, my cousins had a little going away party for me! Look at all these GIRLS! This is not at all near all my cousins. My mom has 8 brothers and sisters so we have a HUGE family. A few came to say their goodbyes though, and we realized we all had little girls! It was so much fun! Thank you Mandy and Kari!
