Our little monkey....

Has been up to NO GOOD!  If anyone knows Rigs you know he is constantly running and always into something (unless a good movies on!) The other day he climbed up on the table and got into the peanut butter.  He was saying "MMMMM"  over and over and I looked and saw the damage was already done!  He was covered!

But also loving every minute of it.

Brielle licking the peanut butter off his head...she shares his love for the stuff and couldn't resist!

Up next this week in the adventures of our little busy body...the toilet!  We knew he had a fascination with flushing and we knew pretty quickly that he must have started adding things to the water prior to the flush.  We took the toilet off and dug around and saw  something PINK!
He knew he had done something wrong.  He kept walking around the bathroom with a big pouty lip.
We kept digging and unscrewing things and couldn't get it out.  It was not a pleasant thing or smell.  Both of us were gagging.

Josh finally tipped the toilet upside down and just started hitting it.  The pink princess water bottle lid finally fell loose and we just laughed.
It was, of course not very clean!  Flushing things down the toilet, this is something we have never dealt with!

Dear Tooth Fairy:

Late last night I jumped into bed, my wiggly tooth hanging by a thread.
Mom said "Just wait it will fall out soon" But I couldn't wait, sometimes she's such a loon!
I wiggled that tooth til it fell right out I was so excited I wanted to shout.
But instead I quietly tucked it into my hand and fell fast asleep drifting to a far away land.
When I woke up my tooth was no where to be seen, you took my tooth and left no money, how MEAN!
So now I am writing you a little letter, to bring my money to make it better!

The first day of FIRST GRADE!

Brielle was so worried about waking up "early " for school.  I kept telling her that she was always awake by the time she had to get up.  Of course today she slept in.  I made her a 1 (for 1st grade) pancake and went to wake her up.  When I told her it was time to get ready for school she said "I hate school!"

Eventually she was up and going and excited.  She hardly touched her pancake because she was "too nervous".
We got all ready and waited around a bit  then loaded up to go.  Imagine my surprise when we were late!  I realized when we got home that the clock I had been looking at all morning was 20 minutes slow.  I was so worried for Brielle but she handled it great.

And yup!  We did it!  We took the WHOLE family to drop her off.  Hey, it's not going to be long before she doesn't even want me there!  I think she liked making a family affair of it.

This lady however, was very UPSET!  You see she doesn't start for a whole week and she just didn't think that was fair.
She cheered up though when we went to lunch with come cousins.
When we picked Brielle up she was so excited.  Here are some quotes from the day:

"Mom, you were wrong!  We did eat lunch!" (I didn't know if they were going to because it was only half day) " and it was so fun!"

Me: " What did you eat at lunch Brielle?"  " Milk and corn"  Oh boy!

"I made a new friend named Rebekah and we are best friends, only I didn't make friends with her until lunch so I played by myself at the first recess!" Sad! Glad she made a friend!

"Me and my new friend have lots in common, like our birthdays are really close...hers is coming up in Sept. and that is by my half birthday in nov." I guess that counts!??!

"Mom school today was AWESOME! I can't wait for tomorrow!"  Wow we ended the day much better than we started!

A picture of her with the traditional cookie.  I think she is starting to realize that she will get them every year.  She said to me "Mom, next year can you make sure you put grade on it...you know like 2nd grade?" WOW!  Lets not even think about 2nd grade right now ok Brielle?

Oh and I almost forgot...a picture of her cheetah nails.  She picked out cheetah because "won't it look A-MAZ-ING with my cheetah skirt mom?"

Wrapping up the SUMMER!

We loaded up all these cuties and headed down to ST. GEORGE for a GiRLs wEeKEnd!
First thing on the list was The Little Mermaid play at Tuacahn.  The girls all had so much fun being together.
The play was beyond AMAZING!  They had fantastic special effects.  They covered the whole stage at one time to look like the top of the ocean, and had a wall of water at others to look like under the sea.  They did a fantastic job.  The girls were glued the entire time.

Every scene Hope would ask "Mom is it over?" I finally asked her  if she wanted it to be over.  She replied "No!  I want it to last forever!"
When my niece Brynlee saw Ursala she said "she looks like an octopus!"  Hope, who was sitting behind her, said very loudly "Brynlee she IS an octupus!"  Brynlee then explained that she was NOT, but that she was a witch and they continued to go back and forth.  They both just knew they were right!
Thanks Mom for making this trip happen!
Unfortunately BOTH of my girls fell asleep and missed the big wedding at the end (complete with fireworks!) I kept trying to wake them up but they wouldn't budge.

When Hope finally did wake up and realized it was over, she started crying saying "it was too long!"  I think she was mad that it was so long she couldn't stay awake.
You can't really tell but Hope is sitting watching Prince Erik and Ariel.  There was a HUGE line to wait in to get pictures taken, but she loved just sitting there watching them.
On the way home from St. George we met all the men in Delta for our little yearly family vacation.  The Bakkers and Cody and Alexa are so great to share with us! Unfortunately, Josh ended up having to work so me and my girls just continued our girls trip.

We had a blast as  usual Hope stuck pretty close to shore, and was pretty afraid.  She did go on the wave runner with me but got really scared when we hit a bump.

The girls LOVE the "hot pool"  even when its 90 degrees outside!  CRAZY!
We kicked up our feet and relaxed in the hammock.  It really was quite a relaxing weekend for me without my CUTE WILD MAN.  My sisters kept asking me if I missed him and eventually I did.  I really missed him...he just wears me out...so it was a nice break.
AND Brielle did something that blew me right away.  All the kids were water skiing on this ski thing for the kids.  I was just watching and KNEW there was NO WAY Brie would ever do it.  All of the sudden they come by and guess who it is?  The girl who used to be terrified of Lakes because it wasn't safe water (ever since a bad tubing incident).  The girl who I used to have to bribe to just get on the boat!  She did it and LOVED it.  She went on the wave runner with me and her favorite part was the bumps.  She went on the tube with her cousins and I was so nervous (because I didn't want to have to start all over again) and she was all smiles!
What an amazing girl!  I'm so proud of her for conquering her fears.

We had a great family week, but we were happy to get home to Rigs and DADDY!

Happy Birthday Josh!

This guy turned 30th!  Yup you read that right...the BIG 3-0!  It was cause for the WHOLE FAMILY to celebrate.  The poor guy needed some shirts so the girls and I each picked him out one.  He is wearing the one Brielle picked out...it's his favorite.  My six year old daughter can pick out clothes for my picky hubby better than me.  Not that that bothers me.

We had a fun filled family day planned.   Brielle was so into planning daddy's birthday, it was sweet.  First we went to McDonalds, because that is where the kids wanted to go, and so that is where Josh wanted to go.

Then we headed out to this rock!  I have lived by this rock my entire life and I have never been there.
It is out by the Great Salt Lake.  I have wanted to go out there for awhile now, especially since the lake is so high.
We were excited to see if the girls could climb up the rock to the top.  Brielle got a little nervous and said she wasn't going to go because it was dangerous.  We were so surprised when Hope took right off, not even waiting for Josh.  After seeing that Hope could do it, Brielle then took off leaving me in the dust.

We all made it to the top!
 And the view was spectacular!
The girls loved it.  They thought it was so fun.

They were trying to take a picture like us.

Oh don't worry, we didn't forget this guy...he fell fast asleep on the way to the rock!

The one request Josh gave was an Ice cream cake.  Brielles was so good and we had to throw the majority away because we were driving.  It was yummy and he loved it!

Josh let the girls blow out the candles, and of course, they loved that!  Josh kept saying all day "Daddy's birthday is EVERYBODY'S BIRTHDAY!"

Happy Birthday Joshy!  We all Love you so MUCH!
