Summer REVIEW!

We had a crazy summer. We knew it would be. With Josh living in Orem during the week this is what his face looked like almost every Sunday night! We hated to say good-bye Monday morning when he would get up early and make the hour and 15 min drive to work at the law office. We tried to squeeze in middle of the week visits as often as we could.

Mean while back in good 'ole G-ville, life would go on with the kids and I. Here are some highlights!
Uncle Jeff took the kids down to the farm for horse rides and to show off the pigs. They loved it and Brielle was set on being a cowgirl when she grew up. Until she came home and met Caleb who convinced her to be a pilot with him.

Hope wasn't too sure about those pigs.

We got to see this little stud be baptized! This kid is such a little go getter. He always does everything 100%, We love you Dalton!
We got to meet two new nephews, and see them be blessed!

Welcome to the family Beau Blaylock! Congrats to Adrienne and Neil!

And Jennifer finally got her little man! Welcome to the family Caden Scott!

We journeyed to FARR WEST to visit the Perkins clan for a few days. I am so glad we did. We went to the splash park, played hide and seek, and Amanda and I got some crafts done. Oh and did I mention we ate lots of ICE CREAM!

These two are just too much! I can't get enough of them together!
At Shane and Amanda's Rigdon started sitting on his own and was stable. He was 6 mos. old.

"Hey cuz, what's up?"

I had a BBQ with some high school friends. It was so good to see all these ladies again!

AND last but not least.... We spent a lot of time doing the 24th program. When I asked Brielle her favorite part of the summer she said it was participating in the program. What a fun way to celebrate or UTAH heritage!

Right before we left it rained a lot. The girls loved playing in my moms ditches.

We also made huge strides in Swimming lessons, although I have no pictures for some reason. Brielle was in level 2 and would actually dunk her head ALL THE WAY under the water. This shocked me. Last year she would cry if her face got splashed. She is now a fish and is always asking us to take her life jacket off so she can swim by herself. She also jumped off the diving board for this first time EVER with her papa.

Hope made leaps and bounds by getting off the stairs. Last year, even with her life jacket on she refused to go into the water if she couldn't touch. This year she realized that her life jacket keeps her up and she can move around the pool herself. She did great in swimming lessons as well, and learned to put her face in the water.

We had a great summer, a long summer, and we are glad to be back to normal life and schedules.
